I don't think I have ever met a man so indefatigably cheerful. John always had a smile on his face and was quick to laugh. He was the perfect foil for his wife, Joanne. My wife, Darcie, and I will miss him but remember with great affection our times together.

Joanne, I am so shocked to read of John's passing. We will be on vacation so I will not be able to attend his service but wanted you to know I am thinking of you and your son and keeping you in my prayers. He was such a good man and so dedicated to you and your mother, playing cards with her, etc. Again, I am holding you in my prayers.
