Theresa (Conrad) Norman

Theresa Norman, 56, of 910 Court St. Sunbury, PA passed away at Geisinger Medical Center on January 14, 2017. She was born in Shamokin on June 13, 1960 the daughter of James W. Conrad, who survives, and the late Patricia Ann (Tetkoskie) Conrad .

Theresa graduated from Shikellamy High School in 1978. She married Earl R. Norman on October 11, 1997 who survives.

Theresa loved her coffee first thing in the morning. She worked in service and retail businesses including Zayre's, Ames and Sunoco, retiring due to her disability.  She was an avid reader of Stephen King novels and true crime mysteries, often reading over a hundred books a year. She played golf, loved the beach at Ocean City, MD, loved WWE wrestling and its champion Roman Raines. She easily connected with those she met and was loved by all who knew her. She was reared in the Catholic faith.

Theresa is survived by her father, husband, daughter Christine E. Arnold and we her husband Chad N. Steacy of Athens GA, granddaughter Sophie Steacy who was the light of her life, and sister Carol Weikel of Sunbury.  She also leaves behind her beloved cat, Buttercup.

Theresa was preceded in death by her brother James W. Conrad (Jimmy) and brother in law Bruce Weikel.

Friends and family may visit on Thursday from 1 to 2 pm. at the St. Luke’s Lutheran Church on the corner of Reagan St. and Catawissa Ave., Sunbury, PA. A memorial service will follow at 2 pm. with Rev. Elinor Allison officiating.
