I will be away this weekend and cannot attend the service for Shirley, but want to let you know how much she always meant to me. She was so kind and gentle, a role model for us all. I appreciated all the years she taught Rel Ed at St. Monica. I knew I could always count on her. We were all blessed to have her in our lives.

My deepest sympathy to you and your family. I know that even though you've had some time to prepare for this loss (if "prepare" is possible), it's still difficult to accept when the time comes.
