Nancy S (Cleveland) Miller

Nancy S. Miller, 85, of 65 Queen St. Northumberland, PA passed away September 26, 2016 at The Evangelical Community Hospital, Lewisburg, PA. Nancy was born in Sunbury, PA on January 4, 1931 the daughter of the late Cecil and Sarah(McCarty) Cleveland.

Nancy graduated Sunbury High School in 1948. She married her late husband Lewis L. “Lewie” Miller on September 13, 1952 who passed October 31, 1998.

Nancy was a housekeeper at the Evangelical Community Hospital in Lewisburg for many years. She was a member of the St. John’s Lutheran Church in Northumberland. She served as the treasurer of the Residents Council of the Lewis Building in Northumberland. She enjoyed bingo and crocheting. She was known for her the great great pineapple cheese salad she served on the holidays.

Nancy is survived by her children: daughter Anne M. and her husband Don R. Lasch of Northumberland, daughter Laurie D. Funk of Danville, son Lewis D. Miller and companion Patty Sullivan of Carlisle, son Calvin J. and his wife Trina Miller of Bellefonte, ten grand children, eleven great grandchildren and many many friends.

Nancy was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one granddaughter Nancy Jean Funk, and one great great granddaughter Josephine Freeman.

A funeral service will be held at 11 am. at the David T. Zweier Funeral Home, Inc. 157 Chestnut St. Sunbury, PA on Thursday with Pastor Rev. Patricia Pittsnogle officiating.
