Sunbury – Shirley E. Dreese, 85, of Riverfront Apartments passed away Saturday, March 14 in Select Specialty Hospital, Danville.
She was born January 14, 1935 in Sunbury a daughter of the late William Theodore and Luella Seal (Martz) Hassinger.
Shirley was a 1954 graduate of Sunbury High School. She worked for ManorCare in housekeeping.
She was of the Lutheran Faith.
Shirley enjoyed crafts and decorating.
She is survived by her two sons and one daughter-in-law, James M. and Cindy J. Dreese of Northumberland, David A. Dreese and companion Esther Brown of Sunbury, one daughter and son-in-law Kim M. and Louis W. Bittner of Danville, grandchildren Jimmy, Nicole, Tiffany and Paige, great-grandchildren Cami, Jamie and Landen, one brother Paul and one sister Edith.
She was preceded in death by brothers William, Robert and Joseph, two sisters Margaret and Jane.
Funeral services will be private.
Arrangements are by the Zweier Funeral Home, 157 Chestnut Street, Sunbury.
