Sean Sterling Obituary

Sunbury – Sean T. Sterling, 32, of Catawissa Ave. passed away Sunday, March 31, 2019 at his home.

Sean was born August 19, 1986, in Sunbury a son of Samuel Thomas Sterling
and Debra J. (Boone) Sterling of Sunbury.

He was a 2004 graduate of Shikellamy High School where he enjoyed working at the Injun Café.

Sean was a line cook for Panera Bread in Shamokin Dam, he enjoyed his work and co-workers.

He will be remembered as a great drummer, playing in bands The Dollar Generals and Homicide.  Sean was also a talented artist and enjoyed drawing. 

He will be loved always by those who survive him, his sister and brother-in-law Nicole K. and Matthew A. Harris of Sunbury, nieces and nephew Isabella, Aubrey and Tyler, aunt Barbara Sassaman of Sunbury, uncles Michael Boone and wife Deborah of Sunbury, Bill Ruch of Lewisburg, many cousins and his many friends.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Clara and Peter M. Boone, paternal grandparents Harry and Mary Sterling, uncles Charles Sassaman and Peter Boone Jr. 

Friends and family may visit from 10-11am Monday, April 8, 2019 at the Zweier Funeral Home, 157 Chestnut Street, Sunbury where the memorial service will follow at 11am with Rev. Clair F. Sheaffer officiating.

Interment will follow in Northumberland Memorial Park, Stonington.
