Northumberland - Ruth E. Naugle, 83, of King Street passed away Thursday, July 30, 2020 in the Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.
Ruth was born January 15, 1937 in Northumberland a daughter of the late Marian May (Best) Champion and her husband Edward Champion. On July 24, 1955 she married Earl D. Naugle who preceded her in death February 7, 2015.
She was a 1954 graduate of Northumberland High School. She was employed with Kramm’s Nursing & Rehabilitation, Milton.
Ruth enjoyed walking, riding her bicycle, sewing and spending time at home.
She is survived by one son David E. Naugle of Northumberland, one daughter and son-in-law Vicki J. And Matthew J. Kohn of Hiram, OH, grandchildren Patrick, James, Timothy and his wife Suzy, and Robert Kohn, great grandchildren Edward “Teddy” and Helen Kohn, one brother Jeffery Champion of Mount Pleasant Mills,five Sisters and two brothers-in-law Linda and George Wallace, Brenda Benner, Sharyn Krumbine all of Northumberland, Andrea and Barry Shoemaker of Mifflinburg, Karyn Cooke of Danville, three sisters-in-law, Barb Naugle, Connie Hetherington, and Darlene Nasades all of Selinsgrove and numerous nieces nephews and cousins.
In addition to her husband she was preceded in death by one son Brian K. Naugle.
A graveside service will be held in Northumberland Memorial Park, Stonington at 12:00pm Friday, August 7 with Rev. Leslie Halchak Officiating.
