Ronald Bastian Fenstermacher

Sunbury – Ronald Bastian Fenstermacher, 88, of Line Street passed away Friday, November 27, 2020 in Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.

He was born June 23, 1932 in Sunbury, a son of the late John I. and Helen M. (Bastian) Fenstermacher.  On October 20, 1957 he married the former Elizabeth A. Starr who survives.

Ronald graduated from Sunbury High School.  He worked for the First National Trust Bank in Sunbury for 36 years. 

He was a member of the First Reformed United Church of Christ in Sunbury and he was a member of the East End Hose Company.

Ronald enjoyed yard work, snow blowing and keeping busy around the house.  He was an avid Penn State Football fan.

In addition to his wife he is survived by one son and Daughter-In-Law David A. Fenstermacher and Donna K. Sees of Florida, brother-in-law Ronald Campfield of Bethlehem and several nieces and a nephew.

He was preceded in death by his brother Robert J. Fenstermacher and his sister Carol A. Campfield.

A graveside service will be held Wednesday, December 2, at 11:00am in Pomfret Manor Cemetery, 1026 Packer Street, Sunbury with his pastor Lynn Schmoyer officiating.
