Obituary
Sunbury - Norma J. Derk, 53 passed away Sunday, March 13, 2022 at her home.
She was born January 14, 1969 in Sunbury a daughter of the late Norman E. and Dorothy E. (Hare) Derk.
Norma was a graduate of the Central Susquehanna Intermediate Unit. Following graduation she attended ATW and UCP.
She loved being outside, took great joy in having visitors and the visiting pets. She enjoyed listing to music, holiday dinners with family, walks and car rides and the many activities with her aides.
Norma is survived by her brother, George E. Derk of Shamokin Dam, nieces, Katrina L. Derk and fiance Tony Dees of Paxinos, Tabitha A. DeAngelo of Drums, nephew, Norman E. Derk of Laurelton, cousins, Charlie F. and Angela J. Mull, caregiver, Dottie Mull all of Sunbury and her aides, Stacey and Amanda Frits, Sam Kelley, Julie Keely, Loretta Moore, Meggan Smith and Paige Martin.
Friends and family may call from 10:00am to 11:00am Monday, March 21, 2022 at the Zweier Funeral Home, 157 Chestnut Street, Sunbury where funeral services will follow at 11:00am with Richard A. Simpson officiating.
Burial will follow in Northumberland Memorial Park, Stonington
