She was born August 31, 1948, the daughter of Lenora E. Bloom. She attended Shikellamy High School before achieving a degree in education from Bloomsburg University in 1970.
In 1970, she began teaching at Newport Elementary School in Newport, PA. While chaperoning a school dance, she met George E. Molnar, a teacher at Newport High School. The two were married on November 27, 1971.
Naomi made the decision to be a full-time mother with the birth of their first child in October, 1972. Throughout her life, she enjoyed spending time with her family. She never truly stopped being a teacher, sharing her love of music, art, and especially books with her children and later her grandchildren. She was a member of Calvary Tabernacle, Sunbury, and frequent visitor at Newport Assembly of God.
Surviving her are two daughters, Katrina Molnar-Dietz and husband Ronald Dietz of Newport and Sr. Augustine Marie (Georganne) Molnar of Cresson; a son, Charles Molnar and wife Nicole of Harrisburg; four granddaughters, Katelynn, Karolynn, Kristianna, and Emerson; and a grandson, Corban.
