Jerri Dean Hand

Sunbury - Jerri Dean Hand, 60, of Hallowing Run Road, passed away Monday, December 21 in Geisinger Medical Center, Danville with his wife by his side.
Jerri was born September 28, 1960 in Sunbury a son of the late Charles Watson and Jean Marie (Lewis) Hand. On December 22, 1979, he married the former Jackie M. Martin. His death came one day before the 41st anniversary of their wedding.
He was a 1978 graduate of Shikellamy High School and Sunbury Vo-Tech. He was employed for many Years as a carpet/vinyl installer for Bill Moffatt Inc. before going out on his own as an independent contractor. Jerri loved his job, and was devastated when his health would no longer allow him to continue.
 He was a lifetime member of the American Legion Post 201, as well as the East Sunbury Hose Company. Jerri was also a member of the Susquehanna Billiards League and served as Captain of Sids Suds and Danleys Hotel pool teams.
Jerri enjoyed gardening and working in his yard, camping, golfing, attending flea markets auctions and concerts. Listening to his favorite band , AC/DC. Shooting pool and fishing with his best friend Al Williams. Attending his grandchildrens soccer games, and watching scary movies with them. One of his greatest joys were the many pets he had over the years, especially his current dogs Izzy, Penny and Addie. 
In addition to his wife he is survived by his son Justin C. Hand of Sunbury, his daughter and son-in-law Jessica M. and Nathan Renard, his grandchildren Chloe and Tanner Renard, two brothers and a sister-in-law David A. and Fran Hand and Kevin C. Hand as well as nieces and nephews.
Due to Covid-19 no services will be held. A celebration of his life will be held at a later date.
