Jason P. Brown, 45 of Northumberland, entered into rest on Friday, November 10, 2023 at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.
Jason was born on May 12, 1978. He was the son of Diane (Young) Brown and the late Scott Brown. He attended and graduated from Shikellamy High School and Penn State University.
Jason was employed at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.
Jason was married for 6 years to his loving wife, Deanna (Brogan) Brown, with whom he enjoyed traveling the world.
In addition to his wife, Jason is survived by his mother, his 2 sons, Ethan and Cullen, his sister, Jess (Brown) Zellers- spouse Jeremy Zellers, his brother Andrew Brown-spouse Justine (Hull) Brown, his grandfather Charles Young Sr.,a nephew Gunner Zellers, and a niece Emerson Zellers, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his uncle Doug Brown, his uncle Roger Brown, his paternal grandmother Betty (Treon) Brown, and his maternal grandmother Shirley(Erdman) Young.
Jason enjoyed Penn State football games, hunting, camping, and fatherhood. He was an avid fly fisherman-following in his father's footsteps. Jason was an artist and an award-winning oil painter. He gifted many of his paintings to family and treasured friends.
Jason strongly believed in research with the purpose of helping others. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Penn State Cancer Institute in his memory. Friends and family may visit from 10:00am to 11:00am on Monday, November 20, 2023 at the Blank Funeral Home, 395 State Street, Sunbury. A celebration of life will begin at 11:00am with Rev. Josh Gibson officiating.
Burial will be a private service for immediate family in Northumberland Memorial Park, Stonington.
