Jane Ann Spencer

Murrells Inlet, SC - Jane Ann Spencer, 76 passed away Tuesday, March 30, 2021 at the home of her daughter in Sunbury.
Jane was born July 25, 1944 in Sunbury a daughter of the late Timothy L. and Dorothy M. (Lauer) Grissinger. On February 27, 1965 she married James E. Spencer, Sr. who preceded her in death on January 11, 2020.
She was a graduate of Sunbury High School and of Central Penn Business School.  Mrs. Spencer retired from the Wyndam Ocean Boulevard in North Myrtle Beach as an operator after 12 years of service. She was previously employed by Dr. John J. Marlette of Albright Footcare.
She was a member of Otterbein United Methodist Church, Sunbury.
Jane enjoyed crocheting beautiful blankets, cross stitch, playing Canasta and her peanut butter ice cream.
She is survived by her loving family, including, one son and daughter-in-law, James E. Jr. and Tara Spencer of Paxinos, one daughter and son-in-law, Stephanie A. and Todd A. McKinney of Sunbury, her five grandchildren, Nicholas and Ashleigh McKinney, Noah, Ryan and Aidan Spencer and her beloved dog, Moshi.
A memorial service in Jane's honor will be held at 10:00am on Saturday, April 3 at Otterbein United Methodist Church, 356 Vine Street, Sunbury. Friends and family will be received from 9:00am until 10:00am prior to the service.
Inurnment will follow in Pomfret Manor Cemetery, Sunbury.

Her family wishes to offer a special thank you to the staff of Amedisys and Geisinger Hospice for the wonderful care given to Jane during her time of need.
