H. Audrey Keiper

Northumberland - H. Audrey Keiper, 93, of Neitz Rd. went to be with her Lord on Friday, December 13, 2019 in Nottingham Village. 

Audrey was born November 13, 1926 in Shamokin a daughter of the late Henry B. And Kathryn (Snyder) Anderson.  On September 24,1949 she married Daniel H.M. Keiper who preceded her in death on June 23, 1989. 

She was a 1944 graduate of Shamokin High School.  Audrey was employed by M&T Bank of Sunbury where she worked as a customer service representative for 20 years until retiring.

Audrey was a member of First Presbyterian Church where she was very active in the church serving as Trustee, Deacon and as an Elder. She was also a weeding planner at the church as well as a member of the Women's Breakfast Circle and the "Friday Biddies" Prayer Group.
Mrs. Keiper was a Board Member of the Lower Susquehanna Valley Association for the Blind, the United Way of the Greater Susquehanna Valley and a member of the Mary Derr Rockefeller Auxiliary.  In addition to serving her church and community she enjoyed playing bridge.

Audrey is survived by her two sons and daughters-in-law Daniel W. And Linda K. Keiper of Northumberland, and Bruce A. And Nancy L. Keiper of Phoenix, AZ, one daughter Kathryn E. Keiper of Northumberland, grandchildren Leyna and Levi Kipp, Chelsey and Zachary Aukamp, Michael Bass, Daniel and Adair Keiper, Benjamin Keiper, Sarah and Justin Venables, six great grandchildren, one sister and brother-in-law Doris and Bob Shandry of Montoursville.

She was preceded in death by two sisters Margaret “Peggy” Winter and B. Eleanor Anderson.

Friends and family may visit from 1-2pm Wednesday, December 18th at the First Presbyterian Church,  238 Market Street, Sunbury, where the funeral service will follow at 2:00pm with Pastor Lisa Kraus officiating.  Burial will follow in Northumberland Memorial Park, Stonington.
