Sunbury - Debra J. Sterling, 63 of Catawissa Ave. passed away Tuesday, January 4, 2022 at the Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.
Debra was born January 28, 1958 in Sunbury a daughter of the late Peter M. and Clara K. (Hand) Boone.
She was a 1975 graduate of Shikellamy High School.
Mrs. Sterling was of the Lutheran Faith.
She enjoyed watching crime shows and spending time in Myrtle Beach.
Debra is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Nicole K. and Matthew A. Harris of Sunbury, four grandchildren, Tyler, Isabella, Maverick and Aubrey, one brother and sister-in-law, Michael E. and Deborah Boone of Sunbury and one sister, Barbara Sassaman of Sunbury.
She was preceded in death by, her son, Sean T. Sterling in 2019, brother, Peter M. Boone, Jr. and brother-in-law, Charles Sassaman.
Friends and family may call from 10:00am to 11:00am, Monday at the Zweier Funeral Home, 157 Chestnut Street, Sunbury followed by funeral services at 11:00am with Rev. Clair F. Shaffer, Jr. officiating.
Burial will follow in Northumberland Memorial Park, Stonington.
