Debbie A. Chervanik

Debbie A. Chervanik, 62, of Sunbury, passed away Thursday, June 18, 2020, at her home surrounded by her loving family.

She was born May 9, 1958, in Sunbury, a daughter of the late Richard A. and Patricia L. (Rhodes) Derr.

Debbie was employed at the Selinsgrove Center for more than 10 years where she worked in the dietary department. She was also a member of Higher Hope International Ministries.

She loved the outdoors, going for bicycle rides, kayaking, spending time at the beach, walking her dogs, and was a very active member of Higher Hope Ministries and her community.

Debbie is survived by her loving partner, Melvin Moyer; one son, Brandon Schrawder (Tricia) of Muncy; two daughters, Melissa Heimbach of Sunbury, and Coty Miller-Nyman (Brett) of Mill Hall; five grandchildren, Brianna, Elise, Caedynn, Liam, and Lucas; several brothers, sisters, nieces, and nephews.

A celebration of life service will be conducted at 10 a.m. Monday, June 22, at the Higher Hope International Ministries Church, 1 Susquehanna Mall Dr., Selinsgrove, with Pastor Mark Gittens officiating.
