David M. Seiler, 76, of Chestnut Towers, Sunbury, passed away Wednesday, Nov. 27, 2019, at Nottingham Village, Northumberland.
Dave was born June 7, 1943, in Northumberland, a son of the late George A. and Dorothy (Ramer) Seiler. On Dec. 3, 1965, he married the former Bonnie K. Leonard who survives.
He was a 1961 graduate of Northumberland High School. Dave was employed as a welder for Shumaker Industries, Northumberland.
Mr. Seiler was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, Northumberland.
He enjoyed being a volunteer throughout many organizations in the city of Sunbury and had a great love of photography.
In addition to his wife of nearly 54 years, Mr. Seiler is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Edward A. and Michelle J. Seiler of Salt Lake City, Utah; one daughter and son-in-law, Lisa D. and John J. Morgan of Sunbury; 11 grandchildren, David, Joshua, Justine and Aaron Seiler, Mikayla Keenan, Lauren Denham, Nixon Seiler, Jacob, Christianna, Adam and Joseph Morgan; great-grandchildren, Kayten, Amy and Bennett Keenan and Elise Elaine Morgan; three sisters and two brothers-in-law, Donna and Randy Poe of Stonington, and Linda and Tom Sminkey and Eleanor Lampman, all of Florida.
He was preceded in death by two sons, Nicholas C. and David L. Seiler; one brother, Louis; and two sisters, June and Jean.
Friends and family may call from 1 to 2 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 3, at the Zweier Funeral Home, 157 Chestnut St., Sunbury where funeral services will follow at 2 p.m.
Burial will be in Northumberland Memorial Park, Stonington.
