Dale Fausey Obituary


Sunbury - Dale R. Fausey, 75 of Spruce Street passed away Friday, February 5, 2021 at the Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.
Dale was born December 8, 1945 in Sunbury a son of the late George L. and Ruth H. (Meiser) Fausey.
He was a 1966 graduate of Sunbury High School. He was a longtime member of Grace Lutheran Church, Sunbury.
Dale took great pride in helping others whenever he could including his volunteering with Meals on Wheels.  He was an active member of The ARC: Susquehanna Valley.  He had a great passion for singing as a member of the Keynotes and Joyful Noise.  He also had a knack for telling jokes in front of his association groups.
Mr. Fausey is survived by, two brothers, Lawrence R. Fausey of East Petersburg and Donald E. Fausey of Shamokin Dam, two nieces, Tina Lehman and Anita Glickenstein and two nephews, Dennis and Kevin Fausey.
In addition to his parents he was preceded death by, one brother, Darvin L. Fausey and one sister, Carol R. Sleighter.
A walk through viewing will be held from 10:30am to 11:30am Saturday at Grace Lutheran Church, 120 Spruce Street, Sunbury. Those attending are ask to follow social distancing guidelines and wear a mask.
Burial will be in Northumberland Memorial Park, Stonington.

Arrangements are by the Zweier Funeral Home, 157 Chestnut Street, Sunbury.
