Sunbury – Christopher N. Matos, 21, of Walnut Street, passed away Wednesday, April 1, 2020 at his home.
Christopher was born July 8, 1998 in Danville a son of Noel Christopher and Tanaporn Matos of Kill Devil Hills, NC and Wendy A. and Mark A. Bettleyon of Sunbury.
He was a 2016 graduate of Shikellamy High School, a 2015 Sun-Tech graduate of criminal justice and a 2018 graduate of Triangle Tech where he earned his welding degree.
Christopher was employed by Custom Containers in Lewisburg as a welder.
He enjoyed fixing cars, fishing and spending time with his family.
In addition to his parents Christopher is survived by his siblings Blake A., Brianna M., Lydia A. Bettleyon all of Sunbury, Emilio and Anita Mae Matos of Kill Devil Hills, NC, one niece and nephew and his paternal grandmother Mariam Perez of Sunbury.
Services will be announced at a later date.
