Chris Foust Obituary

Chris A. Foust, 56, of Seven Points Road, Sunbury, passed away Wednesday, Nov. 18, 2020, at Nottingham Village, Northumberland.

He was born May 5, 1964, in Sunbury, a son of Emma J. (Brouse) Foust of Selinsgrove and the late Gerald Foust. On April 3, 1982, he married his high school sweetheart, the former Tina L. Hoover. His passing breaks a marital union of 38 years. The couple resided in Sunbury in the house that Chris built.

Chris was a 1982 graduate of Shikellamy High School. He played baseball from little league through high school as well as high school football.

He was employed by the Sunbury Motor Company as a salesman for more than 20 years.

Mr. Foust loved to travel especially to his favorite destinations, Hawaii and Key West. He was an avid New York Jets and Philadelphia Phillies fan.

He is also survived by his three children, Christina Engle and husband Scott, Jason Foust and wife Heather, Morgan Foust and boyfriend Thierran Tavakoli; five grandchildren, Grace, Liam, Brayden, Ruby, and Brynn; sister and brother-in-law, Connie and Harry Comrey; brother and sister-in-law, Doug and Cathy Foust; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Ann and Jim Reinard; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Terry Hoover, Leann Hollister, Christie Baslick and Jimmy Reinard; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his father, Gerald Foust, he was preceded in death by two nephews, Drew Comrey and Kyle Foust.

A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 21, in Northumberland Memorial Park, Stonington with Vince Trego officiating.

Arrangements are by the Zweier Funeral Home, 157 Chestnut St., Sunbury.
