Catherine Krankoskie

Sunbury - Catherine M. Krankoskie 90, longtime resident of Twelfth Street passed away Thursday, May 21, 2020 at ManorCare.
She was born November 17, 1929 in Wilkes-Barre a daughter of the late Jacob and Catherine (Beacham) Fladd.  On August 5, 1950 she married John J. Heintzelman who preceded her in death on March 6, 1956. She later married Joseph P. Krankoskie on December 2, 1972 he preceded her in death on August 5 2007.
Catherine was a graduate of Coughlin High School.  She was a member of St. Monica Catholic Church, Sunbury.
Her hobbies included; playing bingo, crocheting and knitting.  She took great joy in babysitting her family’s children and also the neighborhood children.
Catherine is survived by four sons and daughters-in-law, John and Robin Heintzelman of Northumberland, Donald and Christine Heintzelman of Sunbury, Mark and Cyndee Heintzelman of Boise, ID and Joe Jr. and Jaclyn Krankoskie of Northumberland, eight grandchildren, Heather, Jennifer, Billie Jo, Catherine, Renee, Aaron, Kimberly Anne and Tate Ryan, 14 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by one grandson, Jon Heintzelman and her brother and sisters.
A private Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Monica Catholic Church, Sunbury with Father Fred Wangwe AJ as celebrant. Burial will be in All Saints Cemetery, Elysburg.
