Bryce A Truitt

 

Bryce A. Truitt, 59, of Paxinos, Pa. went to be with his Lord, Dec. 22, 2014 at the Sunbury Community Hospital, ER.  He was born in Salisbury, Md. Feb. 4, 1955, the son of B. Norwood Truitt of Whaleyville, Md and the late Rhoda M. Lambert.  Bryce graduated from Stephen Decantur High School in 1973 in Berlin, Md.  Bryce was self-employed as a Harness Horse Trainer & Driver.  He was a member of the United States Trotting Assoc., P.H.A.A., & P.H.H.F.A..  He loved animals and playing golf.

On October 11, 1975 her married Cindy J. Freck, who survives. Also his daughter and husband Kristy L. & Fred A. Reichner of Sunbury. Grandchild Trevor A. Reichner and Step-grandson Alexander D. Reichner.  Brother & wife Randy N. & Dawn Truitt of Whaleyville, Md. Nephew Zachery, niece Shara.  Also survived by his father's companion Priscilla Nock.

He was preceded in death by nephew Shane in 2005.

Friends may visit with his family on Sunday Dec. 28, 2014 at the First Presbyterian Church, 238 Market St., Sunbury from 2 to 2:55 P.M. Followed by a Celebration of life service following at the church at 3 P.M.  Rev. Elizabeth Affsprung of the Covenant Central Presbyterian Church, Williamsport and the Rev, James Behrens of First Presbyterian church will officiate.

In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to the First Presbyterian Church, 238 Market St., Sunbury or the VanCornish Scholarship Fund, C/O Dayton Fair, Dayton, Pa. 16222.
