Betty I. Snyder

Sunbury - Betty I. Snyder, 90 of Route 204 passed away Thursday, July 9, 2020 at the Evangelical Community Hospital, Lewisburg.
Betty was born January 3, 1930 in Freeburg a daughter of the late James Edwin and Dethel (Hoffman) Master.  On September 27, 1969 she married C. Ben Snyder who preceded her in death on July 20, 1993.
She attended Snyder County Schools.  She was a member of Christ Community United Methodist Church, Selinsgrove.  She greatly enjoyed puzzles and word search.  She also treasured the times together with her sisters baking cookies and pies.
Mrs. Snyder is survived by two sons and one daughter-in-law, Steve A. Snyder of Sunbury, David H. and Sharyn A. Reichner of Selinsgrove, one daughter, Alice Irene Snyder of Selinsgrove, five grandchildren and one brother and sister-in-law, Marlin and Delores Master of Falling Waters, WV.
In addition to her husband parents, Betty was preceded in death by, her daughter, Kay E. Mantz, four brothers, Palmer, Leon, Robert and George Master and three sisters, Mildred Portzline, Louella Shutt and Shirley Reichner.
A graveside service will be held at 10:00am Friday, July 17, 2020 in Shreiner's Cemetery, Selinsgrove with Pastor Curt L. Brown officiating.
Arrangements are by the Zweier Funeral Home 157 Chestnut Street, Sunbury
