William N. "Bill" Leeser Jr., 75, passed away Friday, Jan. 11, 2019, at RiverWoods, Lewisburg, where he received compassionate care from a dedicated staff since 2014.
Bill was born April 8, 1943, in Sunbury, a son of the late William N. and M. Jane (Dorsey) Leeser. On Oct. 24, 1964, he married the former Linda Booth who survives.
He was a 1961 graduate of Sunbury High School. Bill was employed in the office of Central Builders and retired in 2004 after many years of service.
He was of the Catholic faith.
Mr. Leeser was a life long enthusiast of model railroading and enjoyed attending train shows and watching trains roll along the tracks everywhere he traveled.
In addition to his wife of 54 years, Bill is survived by one son, Christopher W. Leeser and partner Anthony Roybal, of San Antonio, N.M.; one daughter, Amy E. Leeser of Northumberland; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Carol and John Cassidy of Springfield and Mary Beth and Paul Brochu of Sarasota, FL; and his niece and three nephews.
Friends and family are invited to a visitation from noon to 2 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 16, at the Zweier Funeral Home, 157 Chestnut St., Sunbury.
