Tommy E Bucher

Tommy  E. Bucher, 72, of Rockefeller Township, PA passed away at Geisinger Medical Center on November 21, 2018.

Tommy was born in Sunbury on August 24, 1946 the son of the late Charles W. and Louise A. (Herrold) Bucher.

Tommy graduated Sunbury High School class of 1964. He married  Nancy Jo Duff on January 29, 1967, ending a fifty one year marriage.

He served his country in the US Air Force  during the Vietnam War. He was of the Christian faith.

He was employed as a driver salesman for Coca Cola for 17 years (he was the “Coke guy”) and R. U. Troutman (he was the “Chip man”).  He was a member of the American Legion #201, and the Americus Hose Co.

Tommy is survived by his wife, Nancy, daughter Michelle and Marc Weatherhogg of Frederick, MD, son Thomas E. Bucher and his partner Nichole Young of Selinsgrove, 3 grandchildren, McKenzi, Matthew, Kendall, brothers Glenn and Connie Bucher of Sunbury, John and Lynn Bucher of Sunbury and 4 nieces and 3 nephews.

Tommy was preceded in death by his parents.

Friends and family may visit at the David T. Zweier Funeral Home, Inc. at 157 Chestnut St. Sunbury, PA on Wednesday, November 28, 2018 from 11 am until an Noon funeral service officiated by Staff Pastor Kurt Francis. Interment will be at Northumberland Memorial Park, Stonington, PA.
