Thomas D Klinger

Thomas D. Klinger, 67, of Sunbury, passed away suddenly at Sunbury Community Hospital on February 15, 2018.

Thomas was born in Sunbury on May 20, 1950 the son of the late Lee P. and Marjorie L. (Lehman) Klinger of Dalmatia, who survives.

Tom graduated Line Mt. High High School in 1968. He served in the US Army.  He was employed as a painter for Susquehanna University. He loved to listen to Polka music, bowling, walking, the Atlanta Braves baseball team. Thom enjoyed being with his grandchildren. He was a member of the VFW. Hewas of the Christian faith. 

He is survived by his mother, son Michael and wife Shannon Klinger of Lewisburg, two grandchildren: Pacey and Ali at home, brother Frederick A. Klinger of AZ,  brother James C. and Cindy Klinger of Dalmatia, sister Rebecca J. and husband Gary Wynn of Dalmatia, sister Suzanna L. Oldt of Lancaster and numerous nieces and nephew. 

He was preceded in death by his father, brother Randall Klinger. 

Friends and family may visit the St. Paul’s  UCC 1473 Urban Rd. Herndon, PA 17830 on Wednesday, February 21, at 9:30 am until the funeral service at 11 am. with Pastor John Miller officiating. Interment will follow at the St. Paul’s Church Cemetery, Herndon, PA.
