Sarah V. Marr

Shamokin Dam - Sarah V. Marr, 94 of Snyder Street entered into Heaven Thursday, January 3, 2019 at the Manor at Penn Village, Selinsgrove.
Sarah was born March 25, 1924 in Sunbury a daughter of the late Max and Sarah (Shingara) English.  She was married to Harry H. Marr Jr. who preceded her in death in 2005.
Mrs. Marr was a member of St. Matthews Lutheran Church in Shamokin Dam.
She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Yvonne Marr of Shamokin Dam, daughter-in-law, Carol Marr of Selinsgrove, her grandchildren, Danielle Matusheski and husband Charlie, Michele Foose and husband Mark, Marie Day and husband Todd, Ty Marr and wife Galina, great-grandchildren, Cody and Alyssa Rebuck, Brookelynn, Anthony and Sabrina Day and Vivian and Harrison Marr and her many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband and parents, Sarah was preceded in death by, one son, Harry H. Marr III and siblings, Max, Arlene, Jeannette, Shirley, John, Ruth and Edward.
Friends and family will be received from 11:00am to 1:00pm Friday, January 11, 2019 at the Zweier Funeral Home, 157 Chestnut Street, Sunbury where funeral services will follow at 1:00pm with Deacon Gary Sheaffer officiating.
Burial will be in Orchard Hills Cemetery, Shamokin Dam.
