Sally Ross Obituary

Sally A. Ross, 58, of Snydertown Rd., Sunbury, PA passed away on August 26, 2018 at Hershey Medical Center, Hershey, Pa.

Sally was born in Sunbury PA on September 2, 1959  a daughter of late John and Henrietta (Stroup) Holshue.

Sally married Harvey L. Ross on March 21, 1981; they were married for 37 years.

She graduated Shamokin HS in 1977. She was employed during her life as an office manager, working in accounting, and a mailroom.

Sally enjoyed crafting, scrapbooking, canning (spaghetti sauce and jellies), the yearly girls Rehoboth beach vacation, she and Harvey had just visited the New England States; but she especially enjoyed her grandchildren.

Sally is survived by her husband, children, Rachel Ross of Sunbury, Randall Ross of Sunbury, Janelle M. and Andy Buch of Northumberland, Juliann Ross of Sunbury; five grandchildren, Carlee, Charlotte, Sadie, Daniel, and Brooks; as well as her sisters, Donna and Maurice Wilkinson of Sunbury, Kay and Gerry Knapp of Paxinos and four nieces.

Sally was preceded in death by her parents and son Douglas Allen Ross.

Friends and family may visit on Thursday evening from 7-9 pm at The Stonington Baptist Church, 2113 Hosta Road, Paxinos, PA; Followed by a Friday funeral service at 11 am with Pastor Paul Beech officiating. Interment immediately follows at the Church cemetery.
