Roxanna Inkrote Obituary

Roxanna E. Inkrote, 72, of Danville, PA, passed away on December 12, 2018, at the Geisinger Medical Center, Danville, PA.

Roxanna was born in Sunbury on August 15, 1946 the daughter of the late Charles B. and Henrietta (Musser) Inkrote, Jr.

Roxanna attended Sunbury High School, earned her GED and was trained as an LPN, working her entire career as an LPN at the Selinsgrove State Center until her retirement.

Roxanna enjoyed cooking for everyone, music, dancing, camping, fishing, and sewing.  She was of the Catholic faith.

Roxanna is survived by her daughter Tina and Robert Yeager of Mt. Carmel, son Michael Shambach of Northumberland, son Rusty Traxler of Sunbury, she loved her grandchildren: Salena Yeager of Mt. Carmel, Brandy Reber of Dover, DE, Chelsea Rossmann of Mt. Carmel, Erick Rossmann of Mt. Carmel, Nicholas Traxler of Sunbury, Grace Lockoff Shambach of Northumberland; great grandchildren Mackenzie, Lyla, Toriana, Zoey, Chance, and Alexis, brother Max Inkrote of Lancaster, seven nieces and nephew.

Roxanna was preceded in death by her parents and sister Susan Bentley.

Friends and family may visit at the David T. Zweier Funeral Home, Inc., 157 Chestnut St. Sunbury from 10-11 am on Tuesday, December 18th. A memorial service will be at 11 am. with Staff Pastor Kurt Francis officiating.

Interment is at Pomfret Manor Cemetery, Sunbury, PA at the family’s convenience.
