Rosa Marie Oyster

Penns Creek - Rosa Marie Oyster, 81 of Centerville St. passed away Friday, July 26, 2019 at Evangelical Community Hospital, Lewisburg.
Rosa was born February 8, 1938 in  Milton a daughter of the late Joseph John McWilliams and the late Estella (Orr) Karpoff. On October 8, 1956 she married Earl E. Oyster who preceded her in death in 1998.
She attended Milton Schools and was of Baptist Faith.
Mrs. Oyster was a member of the Sunbury Social Club. She enjoyed playing bingo and taking walks. Her happiest times were spent with her family and friends.
She is survived by two sons, Earl E. Oyster, Jr. and companion Susie Platt of TX, Harry M. Oyster and companion William C. Newcomer of Penns Creek, one daughter, Rose Mary Roberts of Shamokin Dam, four grandchildren, Amy Jo, Lucas, Eric and Nicole and husband Daniel, her great-grandchildren, one brother, Joseph J. McWilliams of Milton, and one sister and brother-in-law, Mildred "Millie" (McWilliams) and James Dreese of Winfield.
She was also preceded in death by one son, John J. Oyster in 1998.
Friends and family may call from 10:00am to 11:00am Wednesday at the Zweier Funeral Home, 157 Chestnut Street, Sunbury where funeral services will begin at 11:00am with Pastor Mike Miller officiating.
Burial will follow in Northumberland Memorial Park, Stonington.
