I am truly sorry to hear of the passing of my dear guardian known to me as Father Havi...when i was a little girl not being able to say Father Haviland. I currently live in Minnesota. Father Haviland and my Mother Margaret Miller were friends for 60 yrs and we have always kept in touch with him even receiving his last christmas card just this past dec. 2016. I've been trying to call his cell phone and of course getting no response only with searching on the internet to find out of his passing. He will be forever missed. Our condolences to the family of Father Haviland. He was very dear to us. He instructed and received my husband and myself into the Church, baptized our first two children. He often mentioned his delight when our youngest at that time joined the children during Christmas Eve Mass at the front of the church and agreed to sit on his lap. He was always eager to hear of how our family grew and where everyone was. We were blessed that he was our guide into the Church.
