Patricia D. Engle

Selinsgrove - Patricia D. "Pat" Engle, 82 a resident of the Manor at Penn Village and formerly of Riverfront Apartments, Sunbury passed away Monday, June 24, 2019 at the Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.
Pat was born June 29, 1936 in Sunbury a daughter of the late Elwood and Harriet (Reitz) Smith. In 1985 she married Charles Engle who preceded her in death in 1998.
Pat was a 1954 graduate of Sunbury High School. She was employed in the shoe department of Boscov's until her retirement in 1995.
She enjoyed playing bingo and cards, Chinese auctions and going to casinos. She was a lover of dogs, but her greatest love was spending time with her children, especially her grandchildren.
Mrs. Engle is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Dean and Merta Graver of High Ridge, MO, daughter and son-in-law, Denise and Miles Krouse of Sunbury, 11 grandchildren and her many great-grandchildren, and brother Roger Smith of Selinsgrove.
Also preceding Pat in death are; two daughters, Debra Rubendall and Pamela Buch, son, Donald Graver and four brothers; Dale, George, James and Larry Smith.
Friends and family may call from 6:00pm to 8:00pm Thursday at the Zweier Funeral Home 157 Chestnut Street, Sunbury where funeral services will be held Friday at 11:00am with Rev. D. Elinor Allison officiating.
Burial will follow in Orchard Hills Cemetery, Shamokin Dam.
