Ned S. Miller, 87, of Spruce St. Sunbury, PA passed away at his home on November 20, 2018.
Ned was born on June 2, 1931 the son of the late Emmor and Ann (Schaeffer) Miller.
Ned graduated Sunbury High School. He married Jacqueline M. Hagerty on June 10, 1951. He served his country in the US Army during the Korean War. He owned and operated the Miller's Foodtown Market for his career. He was of the Methodist faith.
Ned lived to hunt and fish. He was a member of the Sunbury Masonic Lodge #22.
Ned is survived by his wife, Jackie, son Robert E. and Lorna Miller of Conway, SC, son Scot A. Miller of Sunbury, daughter Kathy A. and Theo McCracken of Lewisberry, ten grandchildren: Brian Miller, Joshua, Quinn Ahearn, Jaime Hetsko, Tara Gothe, Jacqueline Weaver, Jordan Miller, Brittany, Amanda Miller and Brandon Miller, 13 great grandchildren, and brother Robert Miller of Williamsburg, VA.
Ned was preceded in death by his parents and sister Lois Moyer.
Friends and family may visit at the David T. Zweier Funeral Home, Inc. at 157 Chestnut St. Sunbury, PA on Monday, November 26, 2018 from 10 am until an 11 am memorial service officiated by Staff Pastor Kurt Francis. Interment will be at the Northumberland Memorial Park, Stonington, PA.
