Madeline Lewis Obituary

Madeline Lewis, 80, of Sunbury, PA passed away peacefully at her home on August 28, 2018.

She was born in Danville, PA on August 20, 1938 thedaughter of the late Floyd and Elizabeth (Boone) Hulsizer.

Madeline was married to James E. Lewis. Sr. on November 11, 1991.

She graduated from Danville HS in 1957 and graduated from Harrisburg Business School. She retired as a nursesaide from Maria Hall, in Danville. She enjoyed many years as a Beeline consultant.

Madeline loved time spent with her family. She was faithful to the Seventh Day Adventist Church in Danville. She also enjoyed shopping.

Madeline is survived by her husband James, daughter, Leslie A. Pritchard of Danville, daughter Traci L. and husband Chris Moser of Bloomsburg, step-children, Michelle R. and husband Dean Kresge of East Greenville, James D. Lewis II and partner Stacy Black of Sunbury, and many grandchildren. Sisters, Marion and husband Gary Cox of Elysburg, and Barbara and husband Thomas Harris of Danville and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her sisters, Janet Leitzel, Darlis Starr, Joan Rothermel and twin sister Maureen Hulsizer.

Friends and family may visit the David Zweier Funeral Home, Inc. 157 Chestnut St. Sunbury, PA on Saturday, September 1, 2018, from 9 am until a 10 am memorial service with Pastor Kurt Francis officiating.
