Leonard T "Lenny" Keller

October 29, 1967 ~ September 17, 2017 (age 49) 49 Years Old

Leonard T. "Lenny" Keller, 49, of Edison Avenue, Sunbury, went with his Lord and Savior on Sept. 17, 2017. He was born Oct. 29, 1967, in Buffalo, N.Y., the adopted son of Kenneth L. Keller Sr., who survives, and the late Joann I. (AcAra) Keller. Lenny was a 1986 graduate of Milton High School, including vocational technical education. He was a carpenter, welder and mechanic. He was a welder for ACF, Milton, and had his own contractor/handyman business often subcontracting for Daniel Chesny. He was a member of Sunbury God's Missionary Church and loved the Lord dearly. Those close to him described him as a Christlike disciple of his Savior. He gave often to others, and loved and was a friend to anyone. He lived simply. He wanted to be loved, was patient, and loved children. In addition to his father, he is survived by his foster father and caregiver, Michael R. Fedder and family, of Sunbury; sister, Jennifer Tull and husband Thomas, and brother, Kenneth L. Keller Jr., all of Mifflinburg. He shared his life and love with many others including friends, AJ Godfrey, Tina Fenstermacher, Adam and Tina Tressler, Kristen Danley, Devin Carper, and the late Harry and Amelia Wiand, all of Sunbury, Dave and Martha Troyer and family, of Mifflinburg; and all the members of the Shady Grove Mennonite Church. Special thanks to the following people who had provided compassionate and exceptional care during Lenny's courageous two year battle with brain cancer: GMC Neurologists Dr.Turner, Dr.Marco, and PA Lin Bellis, Nurses of Hospice, VNA Homecare & Speech Therapy, Knapper Clinic nurses and Kramm Healthcare and Rehabilitation in Milton. Friends and family may visit from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday and from 10 to 11 a.m. Friday, followed by the funeral at 11, at Sunbury God's Missionary Church, 820 Susquehanna Ave., Sunbury, with his pastor, Keith A. Bunch officiating. Interment will follow at the Orchard Hills Cemetery. Arrangements are by the David T. Zweier Funeral Home Inc., 157 Chestnut St. Sunbury.
