June P. Harman, 87, of Wolverton St. Sunbury, PA passed away at Mansion Nursing Home on October 28, 2018 where she resided for 18 months.
June was born on September 26, 1931 in Herndon, PA a daughter of the late William and Pearl (Fegley) Bordner.
June graduated Sunbury High School in 1949. She married the late Bruce L. Harman on March 27, 1953. She was a homemaker during her life. She loved her family, especially making them the Holiday meals.
She was a member of Cedar Aid of Sunbury, the Ladies Auxiliary of the Elks Lodge #267 and the First Reformed United Church of Christ, Sunbury, PA.
June is survived by her daughter, Debbie and husband Clem Fetterman of Sunbury, grandchildren and their spouses, Eric and Melanie Rachau of Sunbury, Matt and Samantha Harman of Sunbury, Jen and David Pretz of Middleburg, Cristy and Michael Russo of NJ, seven great grandchildren, Payge Radel, Shanna Pretz, Ethan Russo, Melinda Russo, Madison Harman, Gavin Rachau,and Maxton Harman, brother William Bordner of Northumberland and nieces and nephews.
June was preceded in death by her parents, husband Bruce, daughter Cindy, son Steve, sisters Grace Updegrove and Hazel Bucher and brother Merlin Bordner.
Friends and family may visit the David T. Zweier Funeral Home, Inc. 157 Chestnut St. Sunbury, PA on Wednesday from 10 am until an 11 am funeral service officiated by Staff Pastor Kurt P. Francis. Interment will follow at the Northumberland Memorial Park, Stonington, PA.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the First Reformed UCC Sunbury, PA.
