Josephine S (Hare) Fausey

Josephine S. Fausey, 75, of Sunbury passed away at Sunbury Community Hospital on July 18, 2018. She was born in Sunbury on January 1, 1943 the daughter of the late Clarence  A. and Mary E. (Weaver) Hare.

She was a 1960 graduate of Sunbury HS.  She was employed and retired from the Sunbury Textile Mill; she also worked at Wilsons. She loved eating lunch with her sisters on Mondays. She worked different crafts and crocheting; she volunteered with SUN Home Health. She attended Brookside Ministries.

She is survived by her son Edward L. and Kim Mull of Catawissa, daughter Teresa  A. and Michael C. Zacharzewski of Shamokin Dam, grandson Robert Fausey, who Josephine raised from age four, many grandchildren, many great grandchildren, sister Rose Allabaugh of Sunbury, and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded by her parents, husband Arthur E. Fausey, daughter Susan E. Mull, son David L. Mull, siblings: Clarence Hare, Mary Hare, Rachel Poff, Robert Peck, Martha Lorman, Betty Cook, Warren Hare, and Joanne Wilt

Friends and family may visit at the David T. Zweier Funeral Home, Inc. 157 Chestnut St. Sunbury, PA on Monday, July 23, 2018 from 10 am until a noon funeral service with Staff pastor Kurt Francis officiating.  Interment will follow at the Northumberland Memorial Park, Stonington, PA.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the defray the funeral expenses.
