Elsworth attended Sunbury Schools. A mechanic-Painter by occupation, former employee of Mohawk Flush doors and H.C. Boyer Chevrolet.

Survived by Son Elsworth R Gass, Jr. and Daughter Jennifer Gass of Danville, Pa.
