Donna L. Smith

Donna L. Smith, 81, of North River Ave., Sunbury, passed away on Sunday, Dec. 29, 2019, at her home surrounded by her family.
She was born Aug. 9, 1938, in Sunbury, a daughter of the late John H. and Rosemary E. (Bressler) Brown. On June 15, 1957, she married Raymond F. Smith who survives.

Donna was a 1957 graduate of Sunbury High School. 
She was employed at area businesses including Windstraw Card & Gift and Modern Business Machines.
As a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Sunbury, Donna was also active with the Girl Scout troop. She was a member of the Rescue Hose Company, Sunbury and the Northumberland Hook & Ladder.
Donna enjoyed her time spent at the casino, playing lottery tickets, and had a great love for playing bingo. Her greatest joy came from spending time with her family, especially with her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and her dog, Buddy

In addition to her husband of 62 years, she is survived by three daughters and one son-in-law, Deb Smith of Cape Coral, Fla., Tammie Mowry, and Tina and Bill Lewis, all of Sunbury; five grandchildren, David Mowry and wife Becky, Colton Mowry and girlfriend Steph, Randy and Mathew Richter and April McFern; five great-grandchildren, Makayla, Dawson, Randy, Mason and Teagan; and a very close family member Vickie.

A Celebration of Life will be held from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 12, at the Sunbury, VFW Post 6631, 940 Route 522, Selinsgrove, PA 17870.
