Dolores E. Yeager

Paxinos – Dolores E. Yeager, 84 of Poppy Road, passed away Thursday, March 7, 2019 in Geisinger Medical center, Danville.

Dolores was born August 20, 1934 in Sunbury a daughter of the late Jay and Eleanor (Weaver) Moyer.  On August 19, 1958 she married Albert L. Yeager who preceded her in death on February 18, 2004.

She was a graduate of Sunbury High School.

Mrs. Yeager enjoyed taking care of children and had been employed at Tender Loving Care Daycare.

She was a longtime member of Bethany Evangelical Congregational Church, Sunbury and most recently attended Victory Baptist Church, Paxinos.

She enjoyed spending her time; crocheting, solving puzzle books, crossword puzzles and word search.  Her favorite time was time spent with her grandchildren who she loved playing pranks on, especially at Christmas.

Dolores is survived by her three daughters and two sons-in-law, Sue Ann Herb of Sunbury, Darcy L. and Wayne E. Yeager of Sunbury, Karen J. and Doug W. Holtzapple of Paxinos, three sons and two daughters-in-law, Barry A. Yeager of Milton, Kerry L. and Jacqueline R. Yeager of Sunbury, Kevin A. and Beth Yeager of Deridder, LA, eleven grandchildren, Larry Lee Herb(Candy), Jeffrey L. Herb, Stacy A. Lemonds(Josh), Lisa L. Sprenkel, Benjamin R. Holtzapple(Natasha), Eric D. Holtzapple(Ashley), Charles Yeager, Jennifer R. Weirick(Scott), Deanna M. Tasker, Debra A. Mull(Chris) and Rachel Yeager, her great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren, four brothers, Jay “Son”, Gary, George “Bud” and Wayne Moyer, two sisters, Violet Radel and Kathy Titman and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband of 45 years, Dolores was preceded in death by her brother Norman “Skip” Moyer.

Friends and family may call from 10:00am to 11:00am Tuesday at Victory Bible Church, 4983 Snydertown Road, Paxinos. Funeral services will follow at 11:00am with Pastor Kevin Kline officiating.

Burial will be in the Garden of Faith at Northumberland Memorial Park, Stonington.
