Daniel R. Zimmerman

Sunbury - Daniel R. "Danny" Zimmerman, 71 of Mile Post Road passed away unexpectedly Monday, June 24, 2019 at his home.
Danny was born July 3, 1947 in Sunbury a son of the late Marlin and Martha (Barnhart) Zimmerman.
He was a 1966 graduate of Shikellamy HIgh School. For many years he was employed with Creative Playthings, Herndon as  a forklift operator.
He is survived by several cousins; Lois A. Zimmerman of Sunbury, Marcy A. George and husband Andrew of Danville, Nancy Jessup and husband William of Long Island, NY, Tammy Chamberlin and husband Fred of Northumberland, Lon Zimmerman and fiancé Tracey Kantz of Sunbury, Jon Zimmerman and wife Christen of Sunbury and his many friends and neighbors.
Interment in Mt. Pleasant United Methodist Church Cemetery will be at a later date.
In lieu of flowers contributions in Danny's memory may be made to the Upper Augusta Fire Company, 2188 Mile Hill Road, Sunbury, PA 17801
Arrangements are by the Zweier Funeral Home, 157 Chestnut Street, Sunbury.
