Brenda J (Wilhour) Boyer

Brenda J. Boyer, 77, of 2659 St. Rt. 61 Sunbury, passed away August 10, 2018 at Evangelical Hospital, Lewisburg.

Brenda was born in Stonington, PA on February 28, 1941 a daughter of Frank and June (Gottshall) Wilhour.

She graduated Shamokin HS in 1959. She married John D. Boyer Jr. on January 28, 1961, who survives.

She worked for Wilson Manufacturing as head bookkeeper for many years.

She was a member of Millers Crossroads United Methodist Church. She was

A shopper, a yard-saler, and a great dancer (she once tried to get on American Bandstand).

She is survived by her husband, son Lynn W. and Lori Boyer of Durham, NC, daughter Keri Jo and James Miller of Danville, Grandchildren: Ashley Hester, Rochelle Austin, and Matthew Miller, Great grandchildren: Madison and Olivia Hester, Tighe Miller, Dakota, Cameron, and Xander Austin, brother Raymond and Judy Wilhour of FL, and sister Faylene and Robert Weaver of GA, niece and nephews: Ryan, Heather and Chris.

Friends and family may call on Friday, August 17, 2018, from 6-8 pm at the Stonington Baptist Church, 2113 Hosta Road, Paxinos, PA.

A funeral service will be held Saturday, August 18, 2018 at 10:30 am at the Stonington Baptist Church with Pastor Doug Hallman officiating. Interment will follow at the Millers Crossroads United Methodist Church.
