Betty J (Conrad) Kelly

Betty J. Kelly, 92, of Sunbury, PA passed away on March 8, 2017 and the Sunbury Rehab Center. She was born in Sunbury on September 17, 1924.

Betty attended local schools. She married Lawrence L. Kelly and began a family, he passed on May 13, 1990. In addition to rearing her family she worked in the laundry service with Mary MacIntosh. She enjoyed having company, playing bingo, taking walks, sitting on the porch, playing cards and board games. But she loved her family, especially the times of family picnics and going to Knoebels.

Betty is survived by her children: Lawrence L. and Barbara Kelly, Jr. of Northumberland, Mary C. and Jim Cundiff, Nancy I. and Michael Wolfe, Bea A. and Chris Hafer of Sunbury, and Sue A. Smith all of Sunbury, seventeen grandchildren, thirty-three great grandchildren, and five great great grandchildren.

Betty was preceded in death by her parents, husband, daughters Ella Mae Brosious and Karen Brosious, one great great grandson, and sisters Mary Furman and Beatrice Kelly.

Friends and family may visit at the David T. Zweier Funeral Home, Inc. 157 Chestnut St. Sunbury, PA. on  Sunday from 6:30 to 8:30 pm. A funeral service will be held on Monday, March 13, 2017 at 11 am. Interment is at Pomfret Manor Cemetery, Sunbury, PA.
