Thomas F Witmer, Sr

Thomas F. Witmer Sr., 61, of Sunbury, PA passed away recently at his home. He was born in Sunbury February 16, 1955 the son of the late Donald T. and Jeanette E. (Foieri) Witmer who survives.

Thomas graduated Selinsgrove High School in 1973. During his working career he was employed by: Weis Markets of Sunbury for twenty years, Walmart, and he recently retired from the National Beef of Shamokin Damafter twelve years.

Thomas was an avid bass fisherman. He was a fan of NASCAR and Little League baseball. He was of the Christian faith.

Thomas is survived by  his mother, two children, son Thomas F. Witmer, Jr. of Pottsville, and daughter Belinda K. Witmer of Sunbury, brother Donald T. Witmer, Jr. and his wife Laura of Middleburg, sister Teresa Yoder and her husband Levi of Winfield; three grandchildren Brandon, Ashley, and Aiden, and many uncles, aunts, nieces and nephews.

Thomas was preceded in death by his father, brother Joseph M. Witmer and sister Pamela J. Witmer.

A memorial service will be held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are made by the David T. Zweier Funeral Home, Inc. 157 Chestnut St. Sunbury, PA. Memorial donations may be made to Special Olympics of PA 2570 Blvd of the Generals, Suite 124 Norristown, PA .
