Teresa K (Long) Sarfine

Teresa K. Sarfine, 48, of 136 Fairmount Ave. Sunbury, PA passed away suddenly on July 18, 2016 at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville, PA. Teresa was born on October 16, 1967 the daughter of Bradley M. Long, who survives, and the late Dorothy F. (Moyer) Long.

Teresa graduated from Shikellamy High School in 1987. She was employed as a labourer at Woodmode, Ott Packaging, and National Beef for the past eight years. Her co-workers at National Beef were like a second family to her.She enjoyed playing cards with her father and step-mother, crafting and shopping at thrift stores. She is missed greatly by her dog “Max.”

Teresa is survived by her father, daughter Sheena L. Sarfine of Selinsgrove, PA, sisters Cindy S. and her husband Dan Noll of Sunbury, Linda F. and her husband Andrew Long, and Brandy N. Long; step-sisters Sheri Simpson and Shelly Wiggs, boyfriend Chris Wilkinson, and step-mother Patty Long all of Sunbury, and many nieces and nephews.

Friends and family may visit on Friday July 22, 2016 from 10 am. to 10:55 am. at the David T. Zweier Funeral Home, Inc. 157 Chestnut St. Sunbury, PA. A memorial service will begin at 11 am. with Pastor Douglas J. Hallman officiating. Interment will follow at the Orchard Hill Cemetery Shamokin Dam, PA. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Mostly Mutts 284 Little Mountain Road, Sunbury, PA 17801.Condolences may be made at davidzweierfuneralhome.com.
