Roberta "Bobbi A Carr

Roberta "Bobbie" A. Carr, 70, of Susquehanna Ave. Sunbury, PA passed away at her home on September 16, 2017.  She was born in Niagara Falls, NY on November 14, 1946 the daughter of the late Robert and Mary Alice (Wilt) Witmer.  Bobbie attended West Snyder schools.  She was employed as a secretary for Wackins Trucking Co. in Philadelphia and for Middleburg Yarn.  She clerked for Turkey Hill in Sunbury until her retirement. Bobbie enjoyed traveling, going to the beach at the ocean, working her flower gardens, decorating her home, cooking, baking and creating her arts and crafts. She married Robert L. Carr on April 13, 1986 who survives.  
Bobbie was preceded in death by her parents and sister Mary "Dutch" Hummel.
Bobbie is survived by her husband, son Jon Brubaker of Sunbury,  sister Kathy Martin of Middleburg, Johanna and Don Herman of Wilmington, DE, John Witmer of Beaver Springs, and James and Deb Witmer of Middleburg and six nieces.
Friends and family my visit the family on Saturday September 23, 2017 from 10 to 11 am at the David T. Zweier Funeral Home, Inc. 157 Chestnut St. Sunbury, PA.  A celebration of life service will be held at 11 am. with interment at Orchard Hills Cemetery following. 
Memorial donations may be made to St. Jude's Hospital or disabled veterans.
