Nicholas A "Nick" Soder

Nicholas A. “Nick” Soder, 72 of 158 Catawissa Ave. Sunbury, PA passed away at Evangelical Hospital on July 21, 2017. He was born on January 23, 1945 the son of the late Robert and Anna-Elizabeth Alice (Glase) Soder.

Nick attended many Schools around the world.

Nick was employed in various businesses during his career, he was last in the health / support care service of CGS Assoicates through Bloomsburg.

Nick had a wonderful sense of humor, he was a self-taught 20th century historian, he was a 20 year member of AAA, he enjoyed the recorded books from the Kauffman/Degenstein Library and was a member of AMAC and a member of the Republican National Committee. He was a Christian.

Nick was preceded in death by his parents and son Steven Cory Soder.

Nick is survived by his sister Susan A. Visnosky of Sunbury, brother Thomas Beckenbaugh and his wife Brenda of Sunbury and two nieces Angela and Lisa.

Service is at the convenience of the family. Interment will be at the Richfield Union Cemetery, Richfield, PA. Arrangements are made David T. Zweier Funeral Home, Inc. 157 Chestnut St. Sunbury, PA. Condolences may be made at davidzweierfuneralhome.com.
