Michael E Bickhart

Michael E. Bickhart, 68, of S. 10th St. Sunbury, passed away at his home on October 10, 2017.  Michael was born in Sunbury on April 10, 1949 the son of the late Mark E. and Naomi E. (Clark) Bickhart.

He graduated from Shikellamy High School in 1967 and Bloomsburg State College in 1971.  He worked as a laborer for Holsum Bakery retiring in 2011. He was of the Methodist faith.

Michael was an avid collector and an avid hunter and fly fisherman in his younger years.  He was a fan of the Philadelphia football Eagles and Penn State football Nittany Lions. He was a former member of the East End Hose Co.

Michael is survived by his brother Ray M. Bickhart of Sunbury, his aunt and sister Peg, with whom he grew up, and her husband John Willow of Liverpool; Aunt Barbara Clark of Northumberland and niece Tracy Clark of Northumberland.

Friends and family may call at the David T. Zweier Funeral Home, Inc., 157 Chestnut St. Sunbury on Monday October 16, 2017 from 9-11 am. A funeral service will be held at 11 am. with Rev. Kurt P.
