Mark T Reader

Mark T. Reader, 51, of East Ridge Road Sunbury, PA passed away at the Geisinger Medical Center on November 20, 2017.  Mark was born in Danville, PA on April 30, 1966 the son of the late Ralph W. and Lewella B. (Nevel) Reader.

Mark was a 1984 graduate of Shikellamy High School.  He served with the Army National Guard retiring after twenty years. He married Sherry L. Minnier on May 21, 1994.  He also worked for the Northumberland County Prison System. He was a fireman serving with the Lower Augusta Township Fire Company, Point Township Fire Company, Shamokin Dam D. H. & L. and Selinsgrove D. H. & L. 

Mark is survived by his wife, children, Stephany N. and Benjamin D. Reader both at home, siblings: Mae Bernadine Reader-Eisenhower of Hazel Township, Earl R. Reader of Berwick, Maude A. Reader of Hazel Township, Leroy G. Reader of York, Laura E. Rosencrans of Sugar Loaf, Budd A. Reader of Northumberland, Jay L. Reader of Sunbury and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brother Loren W. Reader.

Friends and family may call at the David T. Zweier Funeral Home, Inc., 157 Chestnut St. Sunbury on Sunday from 6-8 pm. Interment will be on Monday at 12:30 pm. at the Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, PA.
