James D Smith, Jr

James D. Smith, Jr. 68, of Sunbury, Pa. passed away peacefully in his home July 19, 2016.  He was born in Johnstown, Pa. Aug. 31, 1947, the son of the late James D. Smith, Sr. and Dorothy E. Mabon, who survives in Johnstown.  James was a US Navy veteran and graduated from Johnstown H.S. in 1965  He worked for Bethlehem Steel.  He was a long devout Steelers Fan  He was a wonderful husband & father  On Aug. 24, 1974 he married Catherine L. Mangiafico, who passed away Nov. 28, 2011. Surviving daughters Patricia & Charles Persing of Shamokin and Pauline & Keith Fenstermacher of Sunbury,  4 grandchildren,  Sisters Alice & Thomas Wallace, Jane Smith, & Patricia Smith all of Johnstown & Brother Robert & wife Donna of Philadelphia. 9 nieces & nephews. Aunt Alice Sheridan of Johnstown and close family friend Andrea S. Galbraith of Sunbury, Pa. Services will be held at the conveniece of the family.  Contributions can be made to David T.
